The COVID-19 hits Italy hard in the last couple of years
Italy says from May 1, 2022, it is no longer compulsory to present the Green Pass to eat and drink in bars and restaurants or at gyms, sporting events, night clubs and conferences.

This latest development is part of measures taken by the government to lift most of the COVID-19 restrictions prevailing throughout the country.

It will also no longer be mandatory to wear face-masks to enter public offices, shops, banks, post offices, bars, restaurants and most places of work, although it is still recommended.

However, the obligation to wear face-masks remains for some enclosed spaces, including local and long-distance public transport, theatres and cinemas until June 15 and in schools until the end of the academic year.
