Nuhu disloged as managing director of FCMB
First City Monument Bank, FCMB, has named Mrs Yemisi Edun as its new managing Director following the stepping aside of embattled Adam Nuhu alleged to have fathered two children with a former staff of the bank Mrs Moyo Thomas.

Nuhu is said to have had an affair with Moyo Thomas who was a house wife to another staff of the bank Tunde Thomas who died recently. Moyo is reported to have taken the two children from her illicit affair with Nuhu and absconded to the United States from where he phoned her husband to inform him that the two children were not his. The revelation led to Tunde to have a stroke and has since never recovered fully. He died few days ago.

The bank in a statement said that Nuhu had proceeded on leave to enable investigation into the matter which is ongoing. The new chief executive of the bank is Mrs Yemisi Edun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife and a Master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She joined FCMB in the year 2000 as Divisional Head of Internal Audit and Control before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Bank and now as CEO
