The historic centre where the two Nigerians fought
Two Nigerians, a man and a woman have landed in hospital after they had engaged themselves in a street fight in broad day light in Sassari. The brawl took place in the town’s historic centre, the area around Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

The shredded cloths, shoes of the two littered the area to demonstrate the intensity of the fracas. The two Nigerians carried on fighting until a police patrol team arrived the scene to separate them.

Two ambulances also arrived the scene to take the two to the hospital as a result of wounds they sustained from the fight. Following the brawl, authorities in the town have now raised the security alarm in the historic town centre.

The president of the Nigerian Community in the area Joseph Azuka who admitted inviting the police to the scene, said these are people linked to the world of drug addiction.  

“They are the ones who ruin our name. Every day the people of Sassari come to complain to me about what my compatriots are doing. I reply that it is a minority. We want to be in peace. ”
