The Experience reaching a global audience like never before in 2020
The 15th edition of the annual gospel musical concert known popularly as Experience would hold this year virtually. As with most major event this year, Experience would be virtual as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic. Tagged “The Experience – Global Edition,” the virtual concert this year comes up on Friday 11 December, 2020, starting from 9pm CET (Central European Time).

Over two dozens of topnotch gospel acts would feature at the event. Among them are debutants at the Experience, Hillsong from Australia, Sheldon Bangera, India, Ana Paula Valadao, South America; Matt Redman, United Kingdom; some of the veterans of the world gospel scene who are regular features at the Experience such as: Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Travis Green, and big Nigerian gospel acts such as Sinanch, Eben, Tope Alabi, Ada and Mercy Chinwo.

At a virtual press conference this afternoon, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the founder of the event, whose House on the Rock Church has hosted the Experience for 15 years running, said plans had been on in the last five years to make the Experience a global event, noting that the COVID 19 pandemic hastened those plans to reality this year. He observed that the Experience is a platform also for intercessory prayers. To this end, Ministers of the gospel as in previous years would be making appearance at this virtual Experience. Televangelists such as TD Jakes and Joel Osteen have been slated to appear at Experience 15.

The Experience 15 – Global Edition, will be performed virtually, with the performances live-streamed on satellite television and social media such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. The Experience was presented for the first time on 1 December 2006 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, with 70,000 people in attendance.
