Nigeria’s Ambassador to Italy His Excellency Mfawa Omini Abam has lost his father Elder Usani Omini Abam. A steadfast Christian, Elder Abam died recently at age 86.
Late Abam who hails from Aneja-Ijom, Ugep in Cross River State of Nigeria, was a dedicated teacher who taught in several schools before retiring as a headmaster in 1991.
Until his death, Abam was also a Justice of Peace, JP. A funeral programme released by the family indicates that the two-day event kicks off with service of songs on June 24, 2022.
The next day June 25, there would be a funeral service at The Apostolic Church, Central Field Headquarters, Ijiman District, Ugep, to be immediately followed by interment at his residence.
A reception by the family takes place on the same day at St, Mary’s Primary School, Aneja-Ijom, Ugep.
