AfroLife correspondent in the area reports that the children who witnessed their father hacked their mother to death with a kitchen knife had been entrusted in the care of the social services. Investigators into the incident said Osagie after getting drunk accused Victoria 35, of cheating on him precipitating an argument.
As the argument degenerated, Osagie grabbed a knife and repeatedly stabbed Victoria. When the Carabinieri and medics arrived the scene they could do little or nothing to salvage the situation as the 35-year-old was pronounced dead. Moses has now being arrested and charged with murder.
The couple are said to have been engaged previously in several quarrels with Moses lashing out violently at Victoria. The Carabinieri had been called in to intervene on some of those violent quarrels. The latest of such quarrels took place only a few weeks back when Victoria became ill with COVID-19 and had to remain in quarantine.
