It was an occasion of praise to God as family and friends of Elder Ademola and Deaconess Atinuke Fagade came together to celebrate the 70th birthday of the matriarch of the family.
The affable Deaconess Fagade could not contain her joy as her children, grandchildren, siblings and friends showered encomiums on her. All the guests described her as a generous, caring and open hearted woman who treated all with courtesy and mutual respect.
“She is a woman of prayers and purpose, she modelled us all to be respectful members of the society and to put others first,” stated her eldest daughter, Olubunmi Dan-Ekhator.
In his tribute, her brother Mr Noah Abiose described her as his life saver who risked everything to save her siblings during a fire breakout in their home. “She has a strong personality and she’s a disciplinarian.”
Her husband of many decades described her as a jewel, he is proud to have in his life.
The occasion which was took place in Lagos, Nigeria and anchored by one of the celebrant’s sons, ace comedian, Olufemi Fagade (Omobaba No1) was also used to thank God for His faithfulness to the family.
