As captured by AfroLife before the finishing line Bekele and Temechachu
Last weekend the Ethiopian pair of Fikre Bekele and Tadesse Temechachu came first and second at the 2022 Rome marathon. AfroLife captured the duo just before they reached the finish-line in the heart of the Eternal city.
Another African Morocco’s Othmarie El Goumri came up in third place. In the women category, Ethiopian Adugna Dalasa won in a time 02 hours 26 mins 09 seconds, making it a clean sweep for the Africans.
